Transducers


Transducers are preferably chosen on the basis of the environment, for example what temperature the transducer has to endure. When these requirements are fulfilled the technical specification is taken into consideration. We offer three types of transducers; accelerometers, velocity transducers and eddy current probes.
We also have tacho transducers optical and inductive.

Accelerometers

Accelerometers are the dominating type of transducer on the market. Accelerometers mostly require supply power to operate. We offer several accelerometer types, where the differences mainly are sensitivity and temperature range.

AT112 Sensitivity: 100 mV/g

AT112-HF-IS Sensitivity: 100 mV/g

ATLPC-series: 4-20 mA transducer with velocity output for PLC interface. Air handling units, building services, fans etc.
AT19C Outputs:

  • velocity
  • bearing condition
  • acceleration
  • temperature
Applications where several parameters need to be monitored and enhanced safety is required: chemical industry, diaper production etc.

Velocity transducers

Velocity transducers are often the optimal solution to monitoring, as the measurement range is normally on a par with the frequency range of the machines.

The benefits of velocity transducers are many:

  • No external power supply.
  • Insensitive to interference/electrical field
  • Tolerate up to 150 °C
  • Easy to verify function also in operation.
